The hotel was beautifully kept, the room was nonsmoking, the beds were fine. I got free upgrade and loved it. The staff was always available and smiled at me. Fairly good breakfast at the cafe. Terrific overall experience.
We had a very pleasant time staying at this hotel. Cordial staff, fairly clean and affordable property. Unbeatable location - just close to tin fish gaslamp. Room had a beautiful bathroom that we loved.
We liked the helpful staff and the location was fantastic. Lots of options for breakfast in the café;)))
We stayed for 2 nights here, loved Gaslamp district. Totally recommend this place.
Modern, beautifully designed room. Great downtown location in the middle of San Diego. The hotel offers everything for a comfortable stay. The price was also very attractive due to a promotion.
Technical equipment was not complete: TV remote control was missing (but was brought immediately on request) and there was no electric kettle.
- View. - Comfortable bed. - Close to the baseball stadium (go to a game, ticket costs about 40 dollars). - Close to good restaurants and bars
- If you don't want to pay 35-40 dollars for the parking you should use the parking garage between Petco Park and the hotel, 15 to 20 dollars for night. - Rooms were a little small. For those who stays a little longer I recommend the upgrade for 20 dollars into a bigger room.
The location in the Gaslampquartier is optimal. Many bars and restaurants nearby. The car can be parked next to the hotel in the ACE parking garage for 15$ for 24/h.W-Lan works tip top. In the Hard Rock Cafe which is about 5-6 minutes away you shouldn`t drink a souvenir glass for about 7$ while drinking beer.unfortunately we had to find out that in the American Hard Rock Cafes it is a common practice.
We only noticed it after departure (invoice came by email) that we were charged for an "All Aces Pass" for 25$ per day, but we never booked it. Valet Parking in the hotel for 49$ per night is absolute demolition !!!!
Very nice staff, very central location & close to the port. Room was clean.
Actually everything was great until we were almost thrown out of the room by the cleaning lady on our checkout day. Checkout was at 11 o'clock, she stormed into the room at 9 o'clock without knocking. After a short argument, however, she went away. It gets even better... shortly before 11 o'clock we wanted to leave the room when a young lady suddenly stood in our unmade room and told us what we wanted here because she got this room at the check-in... We went to the reception together and of course it was nobody's fault. Well, apart from this event, the hotel is Top.
The rooms were very clean and neatly furnished.
The pool area was already a bit worn out. Occasionally the staff in the Pool Lounge/Bar was very unfriendly.
The room was beautiful, clean and very big. The pool on the roof was great!
The price-performance ratio is not quite right. The performance is good, but the price is a bit too high.
Hotel was beautiful. The King Suite was beautiful. It totally exceeded my expectations.
My key kept becoming inactive.
The rooms are killer!
I was not impressed with the workout facility. The hotel seemed too quiet and deserted and a little lonely.
You have to go through the open bathroom to cross from one side of the room to the other. You hear and 'share' all noises of who is using the wc. I had booked 2 double rooms with 2 beds each. I was given 2 rooms with 2 King Size beds each. Sharing my room with my son, I had to ask for for a rollaway bed that I was charged.
This hotel is only for people looking to party hard. This hotel is very noisy...located near the train, located right on the bar strip, and has a vey loud club and loud music throughout the hotel tat can be heard in the rooms whn trying to sleep.
We liked the room it was very clean had a really nice shower.
We checked in around 8:30 got in late because we drove from Yuma,Az after my boyfriend got off work. They could tell we were exhausted from the drive but they still put us in a room where we could here all the drunk party goers from our room I was miserable and to top things off we were the room right by the elevator so when the drunks came up from their night of drinking we were woken up everytime. And to top it all off my boyfriend checked his statement and was charged an extra fee of a 100 dollars...
